When IAmATeaf first had this issue, Gennarose took off every posting restriction she could find but it didn't help IAmATeaf. Then we found IAmATeaf was using Tapatalk.
I did a test last time making multiple test posts then deleting them. If one of you has time, try that in this thread. I'll clean up later.
I can't cite any particular pattern or conditions with my incidents.

I do seem to recall it occurring while being active in two threads and hopping back and forth between them as well as adding a quick follow-up comment to something I may have just posted.

No rhyme or reason I can readily identify. It hasn't happened recently, but is incredibly annoying when it does.

Also Windows PC and Chrome.

Yes, this is so frustrating that many times I just give up and do not reply.

Sometimes, I minimize the message, and continue. Then after several minutes (Or when I remember), I open the windows and click send. Sometimes I have several messages and send the over time.
To much of a hassle. I stopped doing that.

There are limits with successive posts on the web browser.

He's right you know. I'll go and have a look. Does anybody know phpBB ?

OK: There is a "flood interval" presently set to 180 seconds. I don't want to reset that as it would allow the spammers to play - and I delete quite a few of them each day already. What I would like is for you to tell me if it is the 180 second barrier you are hitting. It's a bit weird, as I remember Gennarose set those to minimum previously to assist IAmATeaf.

If it is the flood interval I will have a chat with Ken, as it's time for our finest forum members to be allowed to post as much as they like. I think a User group with defined permissions would sort it. "Grumpy Old Men" comes to mind

I'd think the floor interval should prevent multiple posts too quickly.

But you have to think there is a way to automate the decrease in that value for good behavior and time on board.

Yes I agree. Can somebody check if 180 seconds is the barrier ?
