How-To: Make the Contour Shuttle driver persist through reboots

Post by Thixotropic »

Adding this back into the forum since this was a useful tip that bugged a lot of folks.

Making the Contour Shuttle Pro driver persist through Windows reboots

Elevating the ShuttleDriver:

1. Open Task Manager.
2. Click the "Processes tab."
3. Find the "Shuttle helper" in the list.
4. Right-click and select "Properties".
5. Click the tab labeled "Compatibility"
6. Check the box labeled "Run this program as an administrator".
7. Click "Apply".

You might need to do this for the Shuttle Helper app too.

This solved the issue for me (with newest driver .4)

Try the report button (the exclamation mark), then they will win the prize of an insta-ban

It didn't work for a long while, but the great reboot of June 23 seemed to reinvigorate forum settings.
