I don't think polls have been allowed by the management.
I have three self built Win10 pc's (A Ryzen 1800x for me and one for the Missus, and the 8350 server), and that Win10 Intel unit (without a use) so far. I also have two android phones and an android tablet, plus four 4k fire sticks.
What do you want to know ?

Windows for everyday use. Then a bunch of VMs with Linux for specific tasks and some Pis for other tasks.

Pretty much.

As for me, my work box is a company-supplied Win 10 laptop. At home my every day driver is a Linux Mint box with some VMs for Win 7 and Win 10.

My BI box runs a minimal, stripped-down install of Win 10 Pro that dumps the Stored clips to a hidden NAS. I highly recommend the use of something like DeBloater to get rid of all the utterly pointless sludge that Win 10 installs. Look at all the junk you can have Debloater remove:

I kept Skype and a couple of other things and dumped everything else. It made a big difference on my BI box. Using Debloater dropped the idle/resting load by almost 30%.

I wonder what of those components are using CPU. Although maybe your resting was a 0.8% and it dropped to 0.6%.

All that stuff is constantly running, most it for no reason. Every bit of it uses up memory and CPU cycles just waiting.

For example, if you don't use Samba shares, why load and run all the drivers and modules needed to use Samba? They'll never, ever be used if you're not using Samba.

All the other stuff is the same way. FarmVille, Bing Travel, Bing Weather, Zune Video (!!), Candy Crush, etc etc...they're all dragging the system down.

I should have recorded the metrics before and after or taken screenshots. It had a fair idle load (I don't recall what exactly), but I remember that it went down significantly after running the debloater script.

I have a Pi that I use for OctoPi on my 3D printer. I've toyed with the idea of building something like a media box with one but I just never found the time.

Oh, and I have two RasPi3's running Homeseer as well as it running on the BI server.

My Pi is running a wireless home sensor network based on the RFM69. Each node is a RFM69/Arduino and the main unit is the Pi/RFM69. Garage door sensor and opener/closer. Temperature sensors, Motion sensors. Relays to control various things. It also accepts web connections or SMS inbounds to perform actions. https://lowpowerlab.com/guide/gateway/

I keep an old Windows system running for Blue Iris. (Wish they had a Linux version...)
