From the update notes:

In addition to a number of post-trigger images to send to the AI, and in place of the “motion
leading image” option, you may now also specify a number of pre-trigger images as well.
These images are synthesized from direct-to-disk frames stored in the pre-trigger buffer.
Improvements have been made to the heuristics used when deciding which image among all
analyzed to use for final alert confirmation or cancellation. It is no longer necessary to place
a “dummy” object into the the “to cancel” box for processing to continue regardless of a
single confirmed object.
