Second stream delay

Post by mpoczynek »

Is there some way to reduce the amount of time to wait for the primary (high-resolution) stream to appear when viewing a camera?

How and what are you viewing it with ? How long does it take ?

With my main BI5 pc GUI or in UI3 on a different pc, if I click one of my cameras to make it go full screen, it almost instantly shows the main stream = quick enough. The BI5 pc is running an intel i7-8700k which probably helps. CPAI lives on the same pc.

I have not found a way to affect it. I have one line of cameras (3) that take anywhere from 2 to 6 seconds. Others are almost immediate. The irritating thing on the 3 is that they are indoors and have tile floors that show zig/zag lines until they kick in the main stream.
