App not loading main stream on zoom

On the Android app I used to be able to zoom in on a camera feed and it would switch from the low res sub-stream onto the high res main stream after a second or two.

The last month or so I haven't been able to get it to switch at all. Or when I do (by a random combination of zooming in/out and tapping around) it will only show the top left corner of the frame in the full main stream quality and won't let me move around the rest of the frame.

Unfortunately I'm not sure if it was a BI update, app update (although it hasn't been updated in aaaaages, right?) or something to do with Android 12 / Pixel 6.

I've tried a few different combinations of stream settings on the server side but none of that seems to make a difference.

Anyone experienced something similar or got some ideas on what to try?

And as of last week it's working again. Guess something in an update fixed it.
