Capturing video on android phone

I am looking to capture and save a 15 minute section of a protected clip on an android phone. The guy that sold us the security system said it can be done but was unwilling to help.

All you should have to do is start playing back the clip using the Android app, when it gets to the part you want to save hit the video camera icon and it should start recording then hit it again when your ready to stop and it should generate the file and save to your phones gallery. You may need to give the BI app storage permissions in the Android settings if you never have.
I've never tried to record 15 minutes in one go, not sure if that will create to large of a file or not.
