Yes. But, this only needs to be done once, right?

If you are experimenting with different combinations of settings between the camera and the BI (or multiple cameras) it would be a highly inefficient way to get back to square one for everything.

The fact that there is no simple way to clear the settings, either individually or simultaneously, for a given camera configuration is glaringly ridiculous to me. That said, I'm guessing actual PTZ cameras simply have the capability onboard via presets, etc.

Maybe establishing a 'preset' for the contrast/brightness experimentation with a non-PTZ camera would allow the desired settings within a soft 'preset environment' and would provide the 'save', 'edit', 'delete' capability?

Hmmm...

It seems like the info posted about the registry settings was deleted. Can I get that info posted again or DM'd to me?

Sry. Here's the reg entry.

1. Copy to a .reg file.
2. Change 'MyCamera' to your camera name.
3. Double click the .reg file.
You may have to shutdown BI first. I can't remember.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Perspective Software\Blue Iris\Cameras\MyCamera\PTZ]
"iPTZcontrast"=-
"iPTZbrightness"=-

I just tried editing the reg. entries directly by changing each hex/dex value to zero and it cleared the existing values. Blue Iris can't be running and RegEdit needs to be run as Administrator.

Still should be an easier way to do it.

Thank you both! I found the two settings while searching the registry, but wasn't sure what to set the value to.
