Forum Blues....

This forum is so slow at times, that I'll just give up and close the window(s) and move on to something else.

I find it annoying that we have to wait from 30 seconds to sometimes 1 minute or more to get a response. This has to be the main reason why this forum has such little activity.

This forum was much better before 'The great Purge'.


I did discover that when your posting a message, and you click 'Submit' and it take a long time... If you just close the window, the message has been posted, but the forum is taking it's time letting you know.

Not familiar with the purge, must be before my time. BUT... I agree on everything else.

There was an issue with the forum - the database was lost, and the forum started over. That was the "long-ago-before-time". The forum was quite active. It has not recovered! Sad. And, for whatever reason, can be so slow at times.

Thank God for web tabs. Click a link on the forum then go to another tab to do something else while waiting.
