So sorry for the delay in replying, we’ve been away. Thanks so much for your advice, it’s made a massive difference
We haven’t experienced the hard drive filling up problem again and the speed of using Blue Iris is now a dream.
We ordered the Purple Drive and installed it ourselves following YouTube videos! Thanks for giving us the confidence to go for it. Now just the BI programme and Windows related software is running on the C:\ drive and recordings from all the cameras are being stored on the Purple drive. Now reviewing footage is immediate, whether we are accessing it directly on the PC or from our iPhones and iPads, including when we are were accessing the system remotely from abroad.
