Dynamic DNS

im new to blue iris and using the demo right now, is posible to use dynamic dns service so that I have a hostname rather than IP address, like for example i will like to setup a nvr.example.com

Yes, you have to use a Dynamic DNS like NoIP.com to map a name to your WAN IP address. Then port forward your Blus Iris port to the LAN IP of the PC where Blue Iris is running.

You can use the Remote Access Wizard on the Webserver page to test the setup.

thank you got it working, i have one more question if dont mind to help me out, i see on youtube a guy doing a blue iris guide video and on hes video on the blue iris timeline i see he got a person icon probably of motion alert but mine just have a red line , how can i make show a person icon on mine, i know my english is bad hope you understand, i was going to post a pic but got a message Forbidden. Message seems to be spam. so i cant
