BI 5.2.1.1 - Double Click to Full Screen broken again

Post by Thixotropic »

Same issue as in this post: https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/view ... f=4&t=1000

After upgrading to BI 5.2.1.1, I find that the "Double Click to Full Screen" function is again broken on my system.

This was working on on the previous version, but is once again definitely not working on 5.2.1.1 for me.

Switching to the to "Temporary single camera layout" mode works, but it's not the same.

Currently I'm a little hesitant to upgrade to 5.1.1.2 due to the issue mentioned in this post, as I have several Foscam cameras and don't want to cause a problem with them.

everything works fine for me, double click full screen, all cameras seem to work, various makes including foscam, reolink, hview, etc.
don't know if the issues maybe to do with windows, only thinking that because i do not seem to be getting the problems others do.
i have not had any windows updates for a long long time because i broke my windows 10 ability to update and have not found out how to fix it!

I'm running 5.2.1.3 with the latest, as of this morning, W10 updates and all works as expected, including double click to full screen

I updated to 5.2.1.3 and things are...weird.

The right-click option for "Maximize Frame" setting seems to do nothing. The box checks and unchecks but the GUI doesn't change.

Double click is broken in a very odd way...I double click on any camera and nothing happens....but then the next camera I single-click on goes full screen, or rather what actually appears to be single-camera layout mode.

I restart BI and it comes up in "Maximize frame" mode AND the double-click to maximize a camera works. I uncheck "Maximize frame" and now the double-click to maximize a camera stops working.

Edit: It seems like BI or possibly Windows) is caching clicks. I've tied another mouse and another USB port and the behavior is consistent. Rebooting Windows makes no difference.

And with this morning's update, 5.2.1.4, everything is back to normal.

Double-click works as expected, maximize/minimize works as expected, etc etc.

Was I the only one that got back the problem after the update?
