Camera showing up as 2 different MAC addresses

Post by Thixotropic »

As the title says, I've got a camera showing up as 2 different MAC addresses.

This is a Foscam R2 that has always worked fine, but now I notice that sometimes it shows up as one MAC address and sometimes it shows up as another. Currently it's connected via wifi and works in the Foscam app. I can't

The sticker on the bottom has a MAC that ends in 5B:D6.

The Foscam app (under camera info) shows it as being xx:xx:xx:5B:D6.

Right now, the router shows it (right now) as ending in 59:73.

What am I seeing, and why???

These cameras have 2 MAC addresses. One for Wifi, and the other for wired. Both should be listed on the label under the camera, and, in the cameras gui.

Do both MAC address correspond to these two addresses listed on the cameras label?

It only shows one MAC address on the sticker.

After this last update I'm having tons of problems with both wired and wifi cams.

The latest, 5.8.0.2 x64.

I think after I finally get this all straightened out, I may hold off on doing any updates for quite a while.

Not yet...I want to make sure that everything on my end is correct. If I still can't straighten it out I'll put in a ticket.
