8MP and H.265+

Just curious what the highest camera MP anyone has used with Blue iris without issue, and if anyone has attempted to run 265+ codec yet? client has a sales window and wants to get best video of money and items sliding by on the counter. thought was a 8MP running on 265+/265 to not overwhelm storage demands.

I have not done 8MP but have done H.265+. It worked perfectly fine without requiring me do anything at all. I have since dialed it back to H.265 (no +) after doing some more research and my specific environment. The higher compression didn't impact my disk usage too much (and I had plenty to spare anyway right now) and I didn't need to optimize the network any. If your cameras have to feed BI over the Internet or if you have a LOT of cameras maybe it makes more sense, but I'm only pushing 20 - 25 Mbps.
