Hi Dingoo,

I suspected this was due to Google increasing their security, as I had errors with HA equipment sending Gmail emails after a certain date within the past year. I searched the web for your specific error and found this https://support.google.com/mail/thread/5621336?hl=en

That should fix it, but do you really want to reduce the security on your Gmail account ?

Hi Tim, Reduced security is not a good idea i think, thus with the normal security from google, my mobile can't communicate with Blue iris by email to send alarms or to work in remote with internet connection ? Greetz

If I understand correctly you are trying to setup the gmail connection within Blue Iris to use for alerts. I have gmail setup with the heightened security and just created an app password for Blue Iris
  • Go to gmail.com
  • Click your profile avatar in the upper right corner
  • Choose Manage Your Google Account
  • Click Security in the left column
  • Under Signing into Google click App Passwords
  • Sign in again for security
  • In the Select an app to generate a password for choose Mail as the app and other (custom name) for the device and click generate and document that password in your password vault if you want and copy it for use in BI
  • now in the Blue Iris gmail connection settings use your email address as normal but instead of your gmail password use the password it generated above
