Re: Seeking Assistance with Eliminating False Positives in Motion Detection

I use 4 schedules in BI settings, then select the ones I want to configure in each camera's record and trigger pages. One of the choices for each camera is something like "use Active settings"
Active
Working hours
Night
Weekends
(Active is the short time between night and working hours)

bananas? Logan Berries?
Crap, I thought it was the boogy man.
(CPAI is doing a good job of cancelling alerts caused by headlights at night, although it thoroughly irritated the cat when it called it a person)

Re: When >[n] alerts in [period], switch to permanent recording AND stop alerting?

I would probably look into GPAI and clone the camera(s) if necessary to look for different things in different areas of interest. We use AI to eliminate false alerts and can look at cancelled alerts if necessary. Some places we only look for persons, others persons and vehicles. Not interested in an...

Re: AI setup - clarity on general and camera's alert Custom models

The list of models on the general AI page just tells AI what models are available, you keep them all. You select the model you want on the camera's AI page. ipcam-general has vehicles and persons. You can tell it what vehicles to look for. ipcam-combined has animals and such. There is a list somewhe...

Re: Question regarding Lorex DVR

Our NVR is accessed via the IP address of the NVR and in the streams, like mainstream is streaming/channels/0901 where the 09 is the camera connected to channel 9 and the 1 is the main stream. We are not wireless though so that is probably apples to oranges. Maybe your DVR has a channel scheme of it...

Re: Alarm, nothing found

In this camera, I only look for people, no static analysis. Do not use mainstream, AI just reduces it. Do away with analysis when it works the way you want. Note that my CP/AI is on another computer, 192.168.50.17. cancel on unicorn ensures that it will examine the whole image. What are you looking ...

Re: AI Expectations?

Advantage, in my setup, the ESXi system has an NVIDIA card that I can pass through to the VM.

Re: Replay is skipping 5-15s randomly

Make sure logging is set to log to file. Then look in the file for any info at the time/date of the missing video.
I saw similar but it had to do with wireless camera. Fix was drill a hole in the wall and run wire (I hate wireless).

Re: AI Expectations?

No. The Docker image runs on a Linux VM on an ESXi server. Separate hardware. Ancient server (2012) with 27 BPF processor (bits per fortnight).
