Next step is to try disabling a cam at a time to see if it might be a cam causing the issue?
Also as far as hardware acceleration is concerned, did you also check and disable it in each cam, might need to do this if you enabled it on particular cams?

Re: Alerts play unrelated clips
From the other site people have reported similar, going back to the .1 release seems to fix the issue?

Re: Memory Leak
I am having the same issue. My system is windows 11, intel cpu, nvidia gpu, 256gtb ram. If I go back to 3/2/24 version 5.8.7.11 - my ram and cpu stay stable. Anything after that it just keeps climbing. I have Intel+VPP hardware acerbation on and have tried Nvidia and Intel and none with no differen...

Re: Storage allocation issues
Does the account that you use to run BI as a service have sufficient rights to be able to create, delete and move files within the share that you have created.
Check the BI logs to see what it is trying to do and if there are any errors?

Re: Version 5.8.9.0, New options...

I stopped updating ages ago but do follow the updates and from threads here and in IPCT it does look like even though people are still stating that the latest version doesn...

Re: Protected clips deleted?
If you click on the icon that shows the status page of the cams, storage etc on the Logs tab there should be an option to save the log files away monthly. If this isn’t ticked then a restart of BI clears the logs and they are gone forever.

Re: Protected clips deleted?
Have you recently updated BI? I do recall an update where people said they lost their protected clips as an update had untagged them and they were then lost as part storage management. Personally I never use this feature, if a clip is that important I manually both export and copy the BVR file(s) ov...

Re: Query regarding overallocation and lost footage despite configured free space
I always advocate leaving at least 10% or if you really need the extra space 5% of the total disk space free. Writing to a drive and leaving only 10gb free is a recipe for problems. In terms of overallocation, if BI is writing to an existing clip file it will continue writing even if it means it ove...
