If you can find a command that works from a browser, then this could work. I think an in depth read of the manual for the camera may give the answers. If not, a query to the supplier.

Doesn't quite seem right, but I'm wondering if your anti-virus solution is doing this. Can you disable it and test ? It's going to be something weird, and not setting AV exclusions fits that, but then it should affect it when not running as a service too. :!: Have a look if Reliability History gives...

Do they have home automation ? A zigbee remote control, then it depends if it's a wall wart psu or POE. More details are required to nail it down

And watch task manager at sunset to see what pops up. Hmm, can't you record that ? Performance Monitor looks promising but I've not had to use it yet. It can save data sets.

It's built in to recent versions. Go to alert list and right click for menu. Go to database/ Status window. You can then click on the arrows to see the individual drive read/write speeds. The automatic sunset/ sunrise does work well once you have it set - as long as you have your Lat/Long set correctly.
