Re: BI5 Crash with Intel NUC

You are really paying a premium for that small form factor. Both in price and performance. But I suppose it has its uses.

Re: H265 issue

Do you have "Hardware accelerated Decode" set to "No" on the camera's video settings?

Re: H265 issue

You can use H265 but not with hardware acceleration. It is a trade-off between disk storage and processing power. Going with H265 gets you more hours of storage per gb of disk but at the cost of CPU load (both because 265 takes more but also the lack of acceleration). I chose to go with H265 since m...

Re: Blue Iris 3.03.05 stopped working

That sucks, but you got your moneys worth out of that original purchase. There was a design built into the product that required effort to be done by BI on an ongoing basis (license checks). BI stopped providing that service so your product is no longer usable. Other than griping about it there isn'...

Re: triggers and motion detection

I fully concur with the statement to record always. You can still set alerts to add tags into the recorded stream to make life easier or get email/sms alerts.

Re: Can see cameras on LiveCamsPro but not Blue Iris

Can you get to any of your cameras from the web browser on the BI computer?

Maybe some network setting on the computer are causing problems.

LiveCamPro is running on a mobile device right, not the BI computer? Connected to WiFi I assume?

Re: https commands with basic authentication

You need to turn off the advanced login setting in the web server section. I forget the exact name but look in the web server section for something like 'advanced login security' or similar.

Re: IP Problems

Wow, I have never heard of a provider changing IP addresses 2 or 3 times a day. That is extreme and may prevent you from finding a good solution.

There are several good dynamic ip services and we can certainly help you get those running but if the IP changes so often it may still not be good.
