You could send BI Support a request to add those controls.

Re: Camera overwriting past video sessions
Blue Iris does not overwrite files. All recordings have unique names. I believe what your experiencing is a short retention of files, and they are reaching a size/age limit and being deleted. Could you post a screen shot of the BI settings 'Clip and archiving' tab? Here's how to change the Clip arch...

Re: BI is only showing one of my 4 cameras
The Amcrest NVR you have connects to your router via an Ethernet cable. It does not have Wifi. Your cameras can connect to your router either via wifi or Ethernet cable. If cable, a switch would be necessary, unless you have 4 free ports on your router - which is unlikely as routers have only 4 port...

Re: How to synchronize profiles with light levels?
You could accomplish this in BI by going tot he cameras 'Schedules' tab, then clicking the 'Event Schedule tab. When adding an event and setting a time, make sure to click the 'Relative to sunrise/sunset' checkbox. This will adjust the time of the event each day. You could turn off the day/night Aut...

Re: Elementary Question!
There is a round-about way using a clone of the camera. You can't 'follow' an object.. But, you can move the camera in the direction that the object is moving. This is done with 1 or more clones of the camera. Basically, using the original camera, setup a cross-zone moving left to right. Have the ca...

Re: PTZ motion detecting while panning
Yes, there are two options for suspending motion detection on PTZ movement. In the cameras settings 'PTZ/Control' tab... - Check the 'Suspend motion detection' box. This is the default. - 'Max travel time/motion delay'. Set this to the max time it takes to move the camera to the PTZ preset. For exam...

Re: Substreams and Foscam R2
Thanks TimG.
Tried those settings. Still having the issue. I think this is a lost cause.

Could you post a screen shor of your video config screen?
Also, the sub stream will show a much lower bitrate. I probably won't use the sub stream, since it's 640/480. I'd much rather see what's going on with hthe mainstream. But, it would be nice to get it going for future reference.

Re: Handy FOV/Viewing Angle chart
In the past, I went to google maps to bring up my yard. Then used a protractor on the screen to figure the angles and distance!
