Ghosting - I think this is what this artifact is called - anyone esle struggle with this?
I've tinkered with various settings but I hate doing random changes without understanding the exact impacts. I've set both the i-frame and the fps to 10 in the cameras. By the way, what are the units on the i-frame number? Obviously frame rate is in frames per second. I know the general idea is that...

Re: H265 issue
It was referring to Intel QuickSync The latest version of the Intel MFX library (2019R1) is now being used. This update was made in an attempt to bring stability to systems experiencing memory leaks with some versions of the Intel drivers, and to possibly offer H.265 decoding and (eventually) hardwa...

Re: H265 issue
I'm not Tim but a recent minor release of BI5 noted a new library of some sort that the author stated "might help" with H265 acceleration.
That type of loose statement that it 'might' help is not too comforting to me.

Re: Renewal
Does your main settings status screen indicate you are eligible for an upgrade? Near where your license key is on the main settings tab.

Re: BI5 Crash with Intel NUC
You are really paying a premium for that small form factor. Both in price and performance. But I suppose it has its uses.

Re: H265 issue
Do you have "Hardware accelerated Decode" set to "No" on the camera's video settings?

Re: H265 issue
You can use H265 but not with hardware acceleration. It is a trade-off between disk storage and processing power. Going with H265 gets you more hours of storage per gb of disk but at the cost of CPU load (both because 265 takes more but also the lack of acceleration). I chose to go with H265 since m...

Re: Recording being recorded on the NAS device?
Could there be a NAS/Backup process running that replicates files as a backup tool? Separate from BI?
