I'm wondering if some of the CPU usage issues I've seen mentioned are contributed to by heavy disk activity? From the manual, it seems every 5 minutes BI5 is looking to move files around to do housekeeping and the 2:00 AM database stuff is just to refresh the database itself. So I'm wondering 'What ...

I tried opening a group as a desktop frame, sliding it across to the second monitor and having it Auto-Cycle. That works except that any (or all) cameras that are being Auto-Cycled do not appear anymore in the first monitor. The two monitors are separated by a 35 foot HDMI cable, and ideally I'd lik...

So, I have a similar problem. Lenovo i7, 8gb mem, 1 X 256 GB SSD, 1 X WD Purple 4TB, 9 cameras. Cameras 15 frames/sec and watched a couple of BItips videos on YouTube for optimizing performance. Question re dual monitors: Newbie here. I have BI5 with dual monitors, want to have one monitor as operators console, other auto-cycling through cameras. Dual monitors are configured in Windows 10 as Extend. I'm guessing--from what I've seen here--that I would need to create a group with the cameras...

As a newbie, trying to find out how to auto-cycle all cameras (in a group?) on a second monitor, where the dual monitors are configured as Extend in Windows. I'm thinking I will may to open a group in a new desktop frame and then slide that over to the second monitor and then auto-cycle the group? C...
