Re: OOps - Need a Clean Start - How ?

Also, you can export the Registration info, then, delete the entire branch, re install BI. Before starting it the first time, Double click the .reg file you saved to enter the registration info it back into the registry. This way, you don't have to enter it manually. I've used this a few times. HKE...

Re: shut down BI

yes i do have it running as a service, i meant to have mentioned that as main part of my query. Shutting down or restarting Windows will properly shutdown the Blue Iris service. You can also shutdown the Blue Iris service by launching 'services.msc', locating the BlueIris service and clicking the s...

Re: Newbie Camera Recommendation

I am planning to install 5 cameras with BI and would like to get some camera recommendations. My priority is best nightvision. In terms of resolution, is 4K a necessity or 1080p is sufficient? If nightvision is a priority, I would go with the Dahua Starlight series. Dahua places the "Starlight...

Re: Not replaying entire clip

In the camera settings, it has FPS and I Frame Interval as the two fields. FPS can be any number, I Frame Interval is a drop down from 1 - 12. Camera is a FULUVA X-dfq650-4mp-poe x-series. Nothing in their instructions explains anything. The I Frame Interval default is 2. I don't have this camera s...

Re: Not replaying entire clip

What if my camera Frame Interval will not set beyond 12? What Frame Interval do you recommend for 15fps? Does your camera's I-frame interval refer to frames or seconds? If it reflects seconds, then I would set it to 1. Since we are talking 1 second and the camera's frame rate is 15 fps, then in eff...

Re: Not replaying entire clip

Ok, I have tracked it down to the option "Direct-to-disc (H.264/5 IP or hardware encoders only)" enabling this seems to affect how it replays the clips, reducing their length and missing the first 3-5 seconds. You need to match your IP camera's frame rate to its i-frame interval in each c...

Re: Remote UI3

I know some early versions of the Blue Iris 5 installer did not always properly convert Blue Iris 4 web server settings to reflect Blue Iris 5. So, it's possible this may be the cause of why web server access using UI3 is not working. I would verify that "Root" says " C:\Program Files...

Forum load time is slowwwwwwwww

At 1/17/2020 9:15pm, it took 25 seconds for the forum to load in my browser and was very slow navigating folder to folder or reading posts. The forum moderators and administrator of this site need to address these performance issues as they have been occurring since day one. I don't know if the caus...
