Re: Help with expanding system

To clarify, it's more efficient to generate the overlays from the cameras and not on Blue Iris? Newbie question here, but how do you know you're at 33% if you're not viewing the live feeds? When I have BI loaded, all the live feeds are present. Can they be turned off somehow? That does present a pr...

Re: Help with expanding system

I'm running a 6th gen I7 with 16 1080p or higher cameras, running around 33% CPU most of the time except when I'm viewing the live feeds then its pretty much pegged. I have all of the cameras set for 15 frames / second, iFrames at 15, and H264 or H265, they all overlay the date and time which they s...

Re: In Person Help Needed

Once you find a cameras IP address and connect to the web interface on it you should be able to see a live view so you know which camera you're dealing with. What brand of cameras are they? Also, even the cameras that are still working should be looked at to make sure they either have static IPs or ...

Re: In Person Help Needed

They most likely got setup via DHCP rather than static so the IP addresses change occasionally. You'd need to scan your network to try to identify the IP address of the cameras now then see if they have a web server on them were you can set static IPs, if not then you can setup DHCP reservations on ...

Re: ios push failure -2146893016: check security exemptions and service Login

I had to update to 5.3.9.13 rather than the stable release like I would normally do to get it resolved.

Re: ios push failure -2146893016: check security exemptions and service Login

I emailed support and they said it was a change in the cert requirements by apple so I had to update to the latest version on my Blue Iris server side now my push notifications are working again.

Re: How to deal with moths triggering?

AI would help if you don't use it, however with flying insects AI will still sometimes classify them as people due to their relative size and shape when their the right distance from the lens. I have a few Dahuas with the IRs turned off as well since their low light detection is so good and that ten...
