Re: Moving clips from \New to \Stored
Same here (home security). I have a powershell script that runs nightly that keeps 356 days of clips in the NAS \Stored directory so I don't have to think about it. It just prunes anything over 'X' days old. I also threw together a powershell script that that does mass conversion of BVR to MP4 (and ...

Re: 100% Memory usage while converting
I use a powershell script and ffmpeg to do my conversions to MP4 but yeah, the CPU spikes when the conversion is underway. Not 100%, but it definitely goes up a fair amount. I'll post the powershell script here if anyone wants to have a look at it.

Moving clips from \New to \Stored
I put new clips in the local \New directory and the \Stored clips go on the NAS. I started off keeping 10 days worth of clips in \New, then went to keeping 1 day's worth of clips there. Then I decided that didn't make much difference in overall load, so now I've reduced that to 1 hour. In other word...

Re: Blue Iris 5 Web Server Stops Working
In addition to your issues I am also not able to maximize any camera on my BlueIris application itself. This sounds similar to an issue I've had with almost every other release of BI recently , at least the last 8 or 9 releases I think, and it's become very annoying. On my system it seems to be cac...

Re: Axis + BlueIris ÷ Cellular Modem
Second idea.. would it be possible to use the camera's motion detection to somehow shut off the RTSP stream when there is no motion? I'd also like to reactivate the stream when someone logs into blue iris. I did a little research and as far as I can tell there isn't any way to toggle the RTSP strea...

Re: 5.2.2.0 Update
With the last update (5.2.4.3) double-click to full screen is once again borked. Rolled back to 5.2.3.0 and everything is fine. (Thanks again to Reddawg for his rollback script.) It seems like mouse clicks are being cached- I double-click on a screen and nothing happens, then I click once on any oth...

Re: BlueIris 5 auto start on Windows 10 Pro
Glad to help. That's basically how I have my system set up (to login automatically and lock the screen). I start BI as a service, then I have a powershell script that waits just a bit, checks to make sure the LAN is up and then starts a couple of other things running like ngrok and a little script t...

Re: Blue Iris Companion - Alternatives?
Is there a reason you aren't able to use the built-in web server?

Try this: https://www.canyouseeme.org/ CanYouSeeMe.org - Open Port Check Tool "A free utility for remotely verifying if a port is open or closed. It is useful to users who wish to verify port forwarding and check to see if a server is running or a firewall or ISP is blocking certain ports."

Getting rid of the Teamviewer nag screen
I occasionally use Teamviewer to remotely administer my BI machine and it annoys me that after the session it pops up a "Thank you" nag screen/dialog box that stays there until you click it away. I finally found a simple and easy way to take care of it. If anyone else is annoyed by this, l...
