I use wifiinfoview on one of our PCs to see which wifis are in the area and what channels they are using. Our routers are kicking out on channel 1 and the neighbours that it's picking up are on channels 10 and 11.
Will check out the new router capabilities

Re: Help - poor Wifi camera performance
Here's an example of the messages I'm seeing on one of the cameras where we are currently seeing losing signal
We aren't seeing any signal loss or messages for the cameras that are connected via ethernet cable

Re: Help - poor Wifi camera performance
I read your post with interest as we have similar issues. We’ve been running inexpensive wifi cameras from Amazon for about 4 years now and have been using Blue Iris to manage them for most of that time. They have had their issues, but on the whole have been fairly stable for the price of them. The ...

Re: New Router & Samsung SmartCam help
Thanks TimG So after a late night I think I've made some progress 🤞 I did notice an SSID on our network that I hadn't noticed before so after some investigation it was one of our new replacement IP Wifi Cameras that we installed yesterday. Never seen this before. I turned P2P platform off on the cam...

Re: New Router & Samsung SmartCam help
Don’t think so. I tried entering the IP address into the Chrome search bar and it didn’t come up with anything, just an error. I’ve been able to view it on the Samsung SmartCam App or by logging in to Samsung account on Windows browser. Samsung won’t let you use a Chrome or safari Browser to login w...

Re: New Router & Samsung SmartCam help
Hi TimG It sounds like that would have been the sensible solution, but I didn’t go that route 😢 I thought it best to start totally clean so that I could get the best out of the new router and not muck anything up! I thought that the Samsung camera was our only problem, but I’ll take that out of the ...

Re: New Router & Samsung SmartCam help
Thank you. Yes that would be helpful wouldn't it! Although I select a Samsung Camera it defaults to the Generic/ONVIF option.
Here's the config screen - I've removed the login info, but I know that's in there and is correct
BI is showing No Signal for this camera.

New Router & Samsung SmartCam help
Hi We've bought a new router to replace the ISP one hoping that the connection to our cameras will be better. The downside of this is that I'm having a problem with one camera in particular, a Samsung SmartCam, and getting it back on line with Blue Iris. This camera is in our home and is wired direc...
