Re: Camera Key degrades over time

Try the fps drop and then monitor the stream on the cam itself to see if it helps. Some cams just can’t cope with running the cam at the max res and max fps as the CPU just can’t cope. Another thing I’ve noticed is that you do have sub streams enabled but that is set to h265 so change that to h264 t...

Independent Trigger Zone Settings Feature Request

Unless I’ve misunderstood the request I have to agree with @MikeBwca, not only would the zones and settings need separating but triggers and alerts would also need separating as presumably you’d want to know which zone triggered and therefore do something with that trigger. This would also mean that...

Re: Camera Key degrades over time

Do you get the same interruption of the live stream if you actually logon to the cam itself and watch the live feed? You can also watch the BI live stream at the same time. If you get this issue on the live stream on the cam itself then it’s not a BI issue. This is why I asked to try lowering the fp...

Re: Camera Key degrades over time

Also increase you receive buffer from 6 to say 12 or even 18 to see if that makes a difference.

Re: Camera Key degrades over time

Try dropping the frame rate down to 20 or even 15 to see if it helps, also don’t forget to also drop the iframe rate.

You don’t really need 30fps for security cams, I run most of mine at 15fps.

Re: Blue Iris 4 -- max connections to camera?

If BI hasn’t been updated then it’s more than likely that a recent Windows or drivers update is the cause of the issue?

Re: Blue Iris 4 -- max connections to camera?

Can you work out what has changed recently, wondering if maybe you’ve installed a Windows update?

Post a screenshot as an example?

Are you port forwarding or using a VPN for remote access?

Re: Multiple NIC's and subnetting

I'm sure I posted on this thread before but a recent glitch meant that all my posts got removed. My BI PC like others here has 2 network cards installed. 1 is connected to my home network, the other to a POE switch (CCTV LAN) which all the cams are plugged into. All cams have static IPs set as there...
