Re: DeepStack
After you install DeepStack you shouldn't need to do anything with it you then enable it in the BI global AI settings then enable it on a camera. If you have sub streams setup I believe DeepStack will analyze images from the sub stream which could reduce it's confidence level slightly but it seems t...

Re: Continuesly recording
Set them on the recording tab to continuous you still would want to break up the files at some point though. I have mine record 24/7 but output a new file each hour, this makes it much easier to scroll through the video later if necessary, but you can set it to output a new file every 4GB or 8 hours...

Re: BI 5.4 built-in DeepStack Integration
DeepStack is analyzing static pictures not a video stream so it doesn't know what originated the motion, if you have it set to person, car then it will alert whenever there is a person or a car in any image it is presented with wheather that car was parked or not. I have also noticed this on cameras...

BI 5.4 built-in DeepStack Integration
I have been running 14 out of 16 cameras through DeepStack integration for the last year using the AI Tools integration without any real issues to almost eliminate false triggers like shadows, bugs, and bushes blowing in the breeze. When I saw 5.4 had built-in integration and would run the DeepStack...

Re: Newbie stupidity or bug?
When you sent your ticket did you use the support button in the Blue Iris settings screen so it included all the Blue Iris information including your license? I know if you didn't include that there have been times the emails went to the spam folder on their side. I sent a question last night and go...

Re: Help with expanding system
I updated to Blue Iris 5.4 last night and updated DeepStack then switched to the built-in DeepStack integration today and now my CPU hardly even registers and my RAM usage dropped from 70% to 23% we'll see where the RAM usage is in a few days as it used to start out around 53% and go up to 70%, but ...

Re: Always Record and Record on Trigger
It all depends on your use case, if you have a home automation system like Hubitat, Home Assistant, or SmartThings you can have them change your profile base on something like the home automations modes. I use Hubitat to set the profiles based on the Hubitat's current mode that way my internal camer...

Re: Help with expanding system
Each camera would need to have the substream enabled if not already on then each cameras settings in BI need to be configured for the substream URL, I think I have mine setup right but Matts can verify.

Re: Help with expanding system
In my experience, using sub-streams is where it's at. Thanks to your post I finally took the time to enable substreams on all of my cameras except 1 and now while live streaming all feeds the CPU goes to around 55% instead of 90 some. I have 1 camera, a Dahua SD12200T-GN where whenever I try to ena...
