Re: BI 5.0.0.61 dead

Updating to Blue Iris 5.0.0.63 x64 still causes blueiris.exe to crash immediately.

Re: Upgrade instructions?

I'm not making myself clear. I'm referring to the v4 to v5 upgrade, and a file generated by that upgrade for the cameras. The cameras should appear in V5. But, if they do not, then they can be imported by the import file in the v5 folder. Not taking the exported .reg files from v4 and importing the...

Re: BI 5.0.0.61 dead

I was running BI5 v5.0.0.59 x64 standalone app on a Dell Vostro 260 Intel i5-2400 3.1GHz, 8GB Memory, 1TB SATA HD PC and Win10 Pro 1803 with no problems. When I updated to v5.0.0.61 my problems started. What I noticed was that the update downloaded and installed successfully, it crashed when trying ...

Re: Upgrade instructions?

I was referring to the V4 to V5 upgrade. I believe there is a file to import the camera settings (If they didn't carry over with the upgrade) in the V5 folder? Or, am I thinking of the BI settings file? I forget. Anything that you import now into Blue Iris 5 from a Blue Iris 4 "Blue Iris.reg" file ...

Re: Can't start BI

It sounds like your issue may have been caused by upgrading to 1903. I had similar problems after my PC upgraded to 1903 where certain things would not work after the upgrade. I was unable to open a CMD prompt with "Run as Administrator". When I right clicked on My Computer icon and selected "Manage...

Re: BI 5.0.0.61 dead

I am also encountering the same problem after updating to version 5.0.0.61. After I updated from BI5 v5.0.0.59 x64 to v5.0.0.61 x64, Blue Iris crashes after the update finishes and when it tries to re-launch Blue Iris. The Windows' Task Manager shows that Blue Iris is not running in memory. I am run...

Re: Install bi4 on a new computer

I have installed bi4 on a new computer (windows 10 pro), but get a error message when I click on "blue iris admin'' from the programs list. blue iris error.png Anyone know what gives? At some point in the past year, BI4 changed its dependencies for Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable. Download the...

Re: Upgrade instructions?

Good to know. I think I've read/heard that there is a settings file in the V5 folder to import the camera settings if there lost? Yes, you can export the camera settings for each camera. From Blue Iris console, right click on the specific camera, select "Camera settings" -> General tab and then cli...

Re: PTZ Not working in BIv5 for Amcrest camera

I have a similar Amcrest camera (IP2M-841W). Odd how it responds to Presets, but no movements by arrows or mouse. In your IP3-941 camera properties -> PTZ tab under Options: make sure "Enable PTZ UI" and "PTZ w/Mouse cursor" is checked. If you are running Blue Iris in non-admin mode (blueiris.exe) a...

Re: Upgrade instructions?

Thank you. I followed these instructions but somehow BI5 lost my settings anyway. Luckily I had exported those settings before starting the uninstall. This has happened to many people. There appears to be a bug with the BI4 uninstaller that removes settings and registration even though the person s...
