5.3.3.12 & Device type 'Capture'... Resolved in 5.3.3.14

Found an issue in 5.3.3.12 and using Device type 'Capture'. There's a new option on the Record tab 'Record dual-streams if available'. My 'Weather' camera that is setup as 'Blackness', received a yellow alert symbol in the General tab (and in the console). Checking or unchecking 'Record dual-streams...

Detect NON-movement - not triggering alerts

I took one of my cameras that has been working for years, and tested it with NON-movement (for a possible use). With NON-Movement enabled, the Alerts 'On trigger' stop getting triggered. Unchecking NON-movement for regular motion, and the alerts get triggered. The trigger tab and 'On Alerts' are cor...

Re: Frame Advance (Step Forward)

Your welcome.

I also have a ShuttlePro v2 by Contour. I use it mainly for video editing with Roxio Videowave and Davinci, but it also works great with BlueIris, VLC, Web browsers. I use it in Starcraft II and other games, for macros to execute several commands at once.

Re: Frame Advance (Step Forward)

1. In BI settings, go to 'Keyboard shortcuts' tab. 2. Click 'Add' 3. Select Function 'Step Forward'. 4. Click 'Set to next command typed', then press the key or key combination to assign the function. Do the same for the 'Step Backward' function. I've assigned the 'gamer' type keys for playback - as...

Re: Trigger on bottom of objects entering zone + make BI geometry aware

Yes, I understand. The same detection settings do not work for near and far areas. What I've done is to clone the camera, and name it 'Front Door', and set the motion detection for each differently to detect in those specific areas. Use the 'Clone Master' as your driveway detection camera. You'll ge...

Re: IR Cameras

Easy method, if the cameras are outside. If you cameras have Auto-IR, you could enable them and see if that works. If not, you can use BI. Yes. Using BI, you can set the time to turn the camera IR ON and OFF based on time and sunrise/sunset based on your location, so that the time adjusts to each da...

Re: Trigger on bottom of objects entering zone + make BI geometry aware

Your 'Zone A' should detect ANYTHING in the zone if your sensitivity settings are adjusted. Also, the top of your zone is too high. You don't need it to follow the top of the bushes - that is, unless your expecting a semi trailer or Boing 757. When the wind blows and those bushes start to sway, you'...
