Re: Display setting

You most likely have 'Clips' set to not display (second icon).

Re: Playback quality poor

When you say 'BI5 is set to allow 30 fps', do you mean the 'Limit Live Preview Rate'? If you do, lowering this to 15 fps will result is a lot less cpu usage when the console is open. It will not reduce the fps of the recording/clips, and 15 fps is still good for viewing via the console. When viewing...

Re: Jog Shuttle Support for BlueIris?

Opening a text field in BI and pressing the Shuttle buttons is a good idea - Have not thought of that. In one of my cameras settings General tab, I clicked in the 'Notes' field and pressed the shuttle buttons and the job/shuttle wheels. The keystrokes appeared. When the Shuttle Service says BI has c...

Re: Jog Shuttle Support for BlueIris?

The Shuttle's profile is changed automatically via the Contour service, which has an icon in the System tray. The icon looks like the jog wheel. With BlueIris selected, highlight the Contour icon on the system tray. It should say 'Blueiris.exe has the focus'. How are you using the Shuttle within BI?...

Re: Playback quality poor

- What keyframe are you using on these cameras?
- Is there a difference between daytime and nighttime?
- What does BI Status/Cameras tab say is the fps/key?
- What does BI Status/Cameras tab say is the totals (at the bottom)? Maybe a screen capture would be better.

Re: Annke C800

BI should be setting this up as 'Annke/RTSP'. Are you using 'Find/Inspect'?

Re: Burn Timestamp into Video

Needing to Encode to record Overlays is not longer true. BI was modified a while back in regards to Overlays, I think around 5.2.8.1. BI now includes overlays with Direct-to-disc (d2d). The overlay is separate from the video, but stored in the bvr file as Metadata. When the d2d is played back, the o...

Re: Chinese PTZ Kamera

Do the RTSP & ONVIF port #'s in BI match the camera?

I think we need some captures of the RTSP & ONVIF settings from the camera itself.

Re: Jog Shuttle Support for BlueIris?

Okay, you talked me into it, lol. ... Great! I'm sure you'll find it useful. I also use it when viewing video using VLC, and, video editing software like Davinci. (I'm not affiliated with Contour in any way) Years ago when I purchased my first video editing software, Roxio Videowave 4, it came with...
