Re: Direct to Disk recording

Ok, I have set all my IP cameras to Direct to disk as they are all H.264 output and the overlays are set in the cameras. I have set all my DS-4000 card standard cameras to re-encode to H.264 as they have the overlays added by BI5. Obviously we will slowly replace the standard cameras with IP and rem...

Re: Blue Iris 5 Multi Drive Storage Setup

Blue Iris 5 Multi Drive Storage Setup

Hi, I have just recently purchased and setup BI5 as a replacement for an older system where the software is no longer working or updated. Our system has 40 cameras as a mix of IP and older cameras running on DS-4000 series cards. We will slowly phase out the old cards as time permits We have 23TB of...

Re: New Blue Iris setup

Hi, I am in the process of moving my 40 cam system from Watcher products software to Blue Iris 5. 1. Make sure your new system has the same IP subnet setup in your network adapter as the old one as the cameras are still set for it. 2. The find/inspect button only found 3 or 4 cameras. So I used "adv...
