Re: One of my camera's is not docked to UI

TimG has his Blue Iris fu tuned to the max. :)

This also sounds like a bug that should be reported to Ken.

Re: TP-Link Tapo C100 WiFi

It would be great if you could share the details of how you resolved this issue; it may help others that are looking for help with that camera.

Re: Hardware for 32 Cameras

I don't think this is necessary at all. Memory (16gb) was never a problem for me. Others can opine but I wanted to call this out for debate/discussion I tend to agree- 8GB is okay, 16GB is usually more than enough RAM. I have 16GB with 9 cams running and RAM usage almost never goes above 3GB. I thi...

Re: Configure help needed - error moving file from stored to nas backup

Good stuff- this ought to be in the manual as an addendum or in a "How-To" troubleshooting guide. Thanks for posting it. Did that work? if not its a problem on your NAS shared folder. Option1: Shared folder on NAS as guest Try create a shared folder on NAS with guess access then try the above. It sh...

Re: Trigger on bottom of objects entering zone + make BI geometry aware

It may be that adding a single, dedicated camera with a carefully selected FOV could resolve this. Set it to cover only the particular area of interest and then adjust the motion masks to trigger as needed. Similar to your situation, I need to trigger on movement within a very specific area within a...

Re: EZVIZ DB1 DoorBell

I watched the install video for the RCA version and at one point it had the user entering their own password to activate. Are you saying this is not the password one would use with Blue Iris? How would you obtain the QR code password? Mine has a 5-character code, all uppercase, that serves as the p...

I just need to figure out a way of getting it into Blue Iris automatically, I was hoping there was a config file I could edit but not found one.. so 95% there!
I wonder if this setting is in the Windows registry; if so it would probably be fairly straightforward to write the new value to it.

Re: EZVIZ DB1 DoorBell

I can't upload an image, but my settings are different for the DB1 by RCA:

Make: Generic/ONVIF
Model: *RTSP H.265/H.265/MJPG/MPEG4 (yes, it has an asterisk before 'RTSP')

The camera has a password (that I can't change) that is forty characters long
That's not a password, that's a backdoor.

The cameras autoreset once a week so the maximum lag is contained.
I don't know what the underlying issue is, but an interim solution might be to have them reset nightly or every other day.
