Re: Multiple Storage Drives
If this configuration would transfer the files from previous drive to next drive, then I would probably set it up to split my cameras up between the drives, so that I would have an even amount of cameras per drive. This is just my opinion, but I think in most cases using multiple drive arrays and m...

Re: Black Camera for Direct Mounting on a Wall
Most turret-style cams can be adjusted to look straight ahead. The Reolink 420 can be mounted with its back to a wall and the camera turret can be adjusted to look straight out. https://www.amazon.com/Reolink-Outdoor-Surveillance-Security-RLC-420-5MP/dp/B07FQ2T89L I bought two of these and painted b...

Re: Reolink E1. Anyway to connect to BI
All Reolink cameras except the battery-powered ones support RTSP, so maybe that's a way to get the video you need.

Re: Blue Iris 5 Web Server Stops Working
I have yet to see the web interface work on a fresh install of ver. 5 ! ~! I'm hoping I didn't just blow $$ as tuition on yet another piece of hokeware. It's not looking good at this point. If BI desires to continue to be a reasonable viable affordable solution? Better get to fixing... Hi Wes, sorr...

Re: BI 4 works - BI 5 don't work.
The only reason I mention it in this post, is that I felt the full brunt of Admin FENDERMAN. I've never experienced it ever in any forum. But anyway... Yep, he really seems to get his rocks off by lording his forum admin 'power' over people. Time and time again people come here mentioning that Blun...

Re: BI 4 works - BI 5 don't work.
I'm tired of being told my cams are garbage from fenderman on the ipcamtalk forum or blame being put on my computer, OS or other hardware. We see this a lot; he has some kind of problem that causes him to belittle everyone who asks for help there. In any case, welcome to the BI forum, we'll do our ...

Re: UPnP and Blue Iris
I got this figured out, no thanks to the incompetent clowns at Netgear 'support'. I swear, the people at Netgear support couldn't pour milk out of a boot with the instructions written on the heel. Any way, here's the setup to enter in the Port Forwarding screen. Select "Add custom service"...

Re: UPnP and Blue Iris
Okay, so I'm not sure what's going on, but here's what's going on..lol I turned off uPnP and it seems to have cleared any uPnP forwarding that was active, meaning that BI is no longer reachable from the outside world. I turned it back on and stepped through the wizard and got it working again. Turne...

Re: Don't update Win 10 just yet, serious bug present
It seems like in most cases there's no problem with the udate, but when it does mess up apparently it's bad. I update my Win 10 BI box about once a month. No updates are installed unless I approve them manually, period. No automatic updates, no exceptions, zero, zip, nada. I defer anything that's le...

Don't update Win 10 just yet, serious bug present
Don't update Win 10 just yet, there's a serious bug present that can really hammer your PC. "Reports are increasing across Twitter and Microsoft forums that following the most recent Patch Tuesday update (KB4532693), users are complaining that their profiles and desktop files are missing , and ...
