Re: v4.8 Re-install: Where do the Registry Entries belong?

Wow6432Node is the registry branch for 32bit apps running on a 64bit OS.

Not familiar with 4.8 but is that a 32 or 64bit app?

Re: motion fails to record all movement

You probably need to extend the record time, 10 seconds is way too short.

There is an option related to re-trigger but when I tested a while back for me it wasn’t working as expected so I just extended the overall record time.

Not much of security cam if it randomly stops doing what it’s designed to do.

Re: Substream - BI is not recording in HD but in Stream! Why?

This is how the later releases of BI work isn’t it? I’m sure I read that it would record the substream until the cam is triggered/alert raised and then it would switch to recording the main stream until the trigger event passed.

Re: Constant crashing after about 48hrs

That code is an access violation error and if the app reported is Blueiris.exe then it’s most likely to cause. I used to get the same on my system, reported it to support at the time but continued to get them for months with the faulting application being either Blueiris.exe or VCRuntime140.dll. Tri...

No ONVIF detection on BI

My cams are all setup to trigger BI using ONVIF and works a treat. Check what username/password are you using? Check in the cam to see if ONVIF uses the same or different credentials. On my Dahua cams the same credentials used to logon to the cam GUI are used but I’ve read that other makes can have ...
