Re: Camera feeds frozen

I had the same problem last week when I did an upgrade. I had never accidentally turned on that pause before. The upgrade also turned on the "limit live preview rate" under main settings, cameras and that was quite annoying until if figured it out. I also had wondered whether an update or...

Re: Camera feeds frozen

Brilliant ! Thanks for letting us know  No problem. I suggested that they add something to the status bar like "Live video paused." when it is paused. If I had seen that then I likely would have figured it out without having to bug them for support. I'm sure I'm not the only on...

Re: Camera feeds frozen

Well, silly me. I must have triggered the "Pause live" button unknowingly... or it was somehow activated. Since I don't use that function and didn't know about it, I didn't know how to fix. So if this ever happens to you.... make sure that pause button at the top/right of the camera window...

Camera feeds frozen

Suddenly Blue Iris is showing frozen camera feeds... no live video... just a still. If I mess with it a little, I can get the still to update, but it's still just a frozen image and there is no live video.

Anyone else have this problem?

I'm using 5.1.0.0.

Re: The solution to many of life's little problems

I've used these with mixed results.

It can greatly depend on your wiring.

And never expect to get the advertised speeds. Real speeds are usually MUCH lower.

Re: Half of my cameras suddenly say "no signal"

I might be having a similar issue that just started happening for seemingly no reason. Instead of "no signal" though, Blue Iris shows a camera freeze image from the past. It doesn't show video anymore. ALL of my cameras are frozen. .. but they are still running because I can see the live f...

Re: V5.0.4.7 Update Won't Run

I updated to 5.0.4.7 and it would not run. I tried deleting BI and reinstalling but kept getting the same error ( file was missing). I get operational, I deleted the app and installed an earlier version I had 5.0.0.54 on my hard drive. See: https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t...

Re: VCRUNTIME140_1.dll missing error

I'm back up and running! Running VCREDIST_X64.exe then a system restart worked for me. First, our apologies for your inconvenience. This issue has arisen as the result of an update made to the Visual Studio C++ compiler used to build Blue Iris. It is not a bug or other problem with the software itse...

Re: VCRUNTIME140_1.dll missing error

This sucks. Just tried updating and getting same error.

Where can I get an older but not too old Blue Iris version that works?

First time an update has horribly failed.

And the forum is very slow.
