Re: motion detection and other issues

Trigger is an event that occurs when motion is detected (probably there can be more variants not only on motion, but let's stop here) right ? Basically, yes. More accurately, a trigger is the resulting action from an event or other pre-determined means to initiate it. In this case, motion detected ...

Re: motion detection and other issues

Good questions. 1) I read your customization method and I don't really understand, why do I need to get a new alert when the motion that started is still going on? For example I record my treadmill run which lasts for 30 minutes, I just want to get one alert at the beginning that the movement has st...

Re: motion detection and other issues

I can not normally set up motion detection in the room, the recording occurs but jerkily, when a person is already in the middle of the room, and sometimes does not work at all, Motion detection will work fine if you use zones instead of object detection. Ditch the object detection and switch to Zo...

Wouldn't that trigger only one camera?

Sync any additional cameras to the main trigger camera and/or create a group in Blue Iris specifically for the purpose as well.

The Reolink 811A would probably be a good choice for both its siren and its floodlight.

Re: UI3 Hangs - old/new setup

Cool beans. It only seemed logical that the ultra-low frame rate wasn't quite enough to provide the necessary input for any reasonable level of encoding.

You're welcome. :P

Re: UI3 Hangs - old/new setup

Maybe try pushing a few more frames toward UI3 for the encoding involved to create its main streams? Certainly can't explain why it used to work fine but now it doesn't. Seems to be a lot of that going around lately. What are you viewing UI3 on? I fired mine up last night on a ONN GoogleTV streamer ...

I'll be curious to know how you get it sorted out.

Good luck with it.

Re: New cameras, old server, lots of hangs

Someone else will need to hop in for the UI3 stuff. I only use it infrequently.
