Just set BI to "run as a service" in the main settings. I forget which tab.

Support for getting a specific camera to work with BI is likely out of scope for what they can support. It would take a full time staff person to keep up with those questions.

That is the classic inbound-connection dilemma that all users face. Unrelated to Android or IOS.
There are various solutions, glad you found one that works for you.

So the problem has nothing to do with the Android App.
