Re: BI license transferable to new computer?

You need to install a version of BI that was released during the time where your support was active. Your settings main page should tell you when your service expired.

Install a version of BI from that date or earlier.

You can get archives of the installers from ipcamtalk.

Re: Auto Reboot of BI after Power Failure

Just set BI to "run as a service" in the main settings. I forget which tab.

Kind regards,

Mark

Re: Run Blue Iris Twice on Same PC?

Highly unlikely the settings and registry entries would allow two instances.

Re: Basic Support

Support for getting a specific camera to work with BI is likely out of scope for what they can support. It would take a full time staff person to keep up with those questions.

So it is more accurate to say that "BI on Windows in a VM" is not working well rather than saying
"BI on Windows" is not working well.

Re: BI5 Cams shut down when I start up my VPN?

Point of technical wording... the cameras do not lose connection... more accurately, BI can no longer connect to the cameras. Your cameras likely remain on your home network and when you take your machine to VPN it loses all knowledge of the home network (including the cameras). Another point of tec...
