Re: blue iris 5.0 not starting after latest win 10 update

Your error maybe the result of having Windows 10 Pro N edition installed without installing the Media Feature Pack from Microsoft. See this thread https://blueirissoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=387#p984. I would also make sure you have installed Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visua...

Re: Would Blue Iris manage with my hardware?

Just to add to TimG post about the relationship between higher frame rates and CPU resources, Many novices installing security cameras think they need to run their cameras at high frame rates like 30fps because they think it's going to improve the quality of the video or they might miss something. W...

Re: Would Blue Iris manage with my hardware?

Hi all - I do work for a client who wants to set up a small-scale security IP camera setup - 6-7 cameras (5 wireless, 2 wired) is preferred, but they'd be happy if we even ran 4 off of it. They already have another DVR that is maxed for camera capability already and wanted to just add a few more ca...

Re: Hard Drive Filling Up

I don't see a setting misconfiguration with Clips and archiving that would cause an over-allocation of your C: storage ( New & Alerts ). It should be obeying the 500GB for New and 55GB for Alerts. Allocation for C: should not exceed 555GB. This appears to be a bug.

Re: Hard Drive Filling Up

Unfortunately this didn't work for me. I've been running this version since it's release and today woke up to a full PC error message :( Back to the drawing board ... I know your first post seems pretty self-explanatory, and I didn't see anything wrong your description of your settings, but could y...
