Re: Frame Advance (Step Forward)

Your welcome.

I also have a ShuttlePro v2 by Contour. I use it mainly for video editing with Roxio Videowave and Davinci, but it also works great with BlueIris, VLC, Web browsers. I use it in Starcraft II and other games, for macros to execute several commands at once.

Re: Frame Advance (Step Forward)

1. In BI settings, go to 'Keyboard shortcuts' tab. 2. Click 'Add' 3. Select Function 'Step Forward'. 4. Click 'Set to next command typed', then press the key or key combination to assign the function. Do the same for the 'Step Backward' function. I've assigned the 'gamer' type keys for playback - as...

Re: Trigger on bottom of objects entering zone + make BI geometry aware

Yes, I understand. The same detection settings do not work for near and far areas. What I've done is to clone the camera, and name it 'Front Door', and set the motion detection for each differently to detect in those specific areas. Use the 'Clone Master' as your driveway detection camera. You'll ge...

Re: IR Cameras

Easy method, if the cameras are outside. If you cameras have Auto-IR, you could enable them and see if that works. If not, you can use BI. Yes. Using BI, you can set the time to turn the camera IR ON and OFF based on time and sunrise/sunset based on your location, so that the time adjusts to each da...

Re: Trigger on bottom of objects entering zone + make BI geometry aware

Your 'Zone A' should detect ANYTHING in the zone if your sensitivity settings are adjusted. Also, the top of your zone is too high. You don't need it to follow the top of the bushes - that is, unless your expecting a semi trailer or Boing 757. When the wind blows and those bushes start to sway, you'...

Re: "convert/export" option grayed out

Different ways to do this (of course). Simplest, is to double-click on a 'clip' in the clip list. It should start playing the clip in 'edit' mode. You know your in edit mode if there's no boarder AND you see the start/end frame marks. Set your start/end points, then export. If there's no clip... - C...

Re: How to upgrade and move to another computer

Also, see the 'Blue Iris Updates' web page. It mentions how to upgrade from V4 to V5. It's not complete. It does not mention how to get the V4 backup into V5. I wouldn't think they are compatible. V4 and V5 can both be installed. When I upgraded to V5, I think I setup V5 from scratch, using V4 as re...
