Before I did anything, I would try to see why you are disconnecting. Evaluate logs, etc. Both Windows and BI. With wired LAN we seldom see a disconnect. There is a watchdog for each camera. You can configure it to fire based on a timeout period and have it run a program after X number of timeouts. A...

We have 13 cameras. 6 of these were "inherited" along with an NVR when we moved in. I moved all but 2 cameras to BI. Those 2 do not have the default password, so I can't move them. Until we replace them, we use the NVR, it works fine. I see no downside to this other than another potential ...

Pardon me for laughing...
Use a separate zone for alerts and mask out some/all of the area where the inflatables are.
Alternatively, I guess you could create your own person module.

Do the BI logs show the camera dropping out and trying to reconnect? Use the "log to file" and look in the file, perhaps there is some other telltale activity at that time. FWIIW: I have had bad luck with wireless cameras dropping out from time to time. We don't use wireless for any seriou...
