Re: New vs Storage - Full time recording

Nope, I originally did the same thing but there is zero benefit if it's all staying in the same drive. All it's doing is moving files from one folder to another which is extra HD cycles. Keep them all in new and expand that time range to you're upper limit capacity. Make sure to drop the allocation ...

Re: BI corrupted video / performance issue

Wow thats pretty interesting that you've run into that and I continue to be thankful that I've been trouble free on the latest. I'm also very glad that you've found a stable version where it works for you. Have you tried reaching out to support to note the differences and issue you're experiencing. ...

5.3.x

When recording direct-to-disc with a dual-streaming camera, now BOTH streams are saved to the BVR file. Files created in this way will no longer be playable on older releases of this software. The sub stream will be used automatically for timeline playback as well as low-resolution web requests. Th...

Re: Dewarping 180 degree camera? Feature request.

This could be an interesting option for me too, I had never considered it. That said, I'd like it to look somewhat normal so a warped image would not be fun.

Re: Adding Cameras - Preview

Not that I'm really aware of other than possibly by virtue of connecting to the camera web interface directly prior to importing. For instance, if you think you want to add camera at 192.168.1.200... prior to adding it you likely had to make some config settings (or will after adding anyway) on the ...

Re: green progress bar on clip icon?

I noticed you're using Sophos UTM WAF. Do you route all traffic through it before it connects to your network? Would this allow a secure connection to BI remotely? I looked at the info page for it, and it says: " The Sophos UTM Free Home Use firewall contains its own operating system and will overw...

Re: FPS and Bitrate

So yes, at least per the BI manual... the "Maximum Frame Rate" and "I-frame" should be the same value. If you want that to be 15fps (I think that is likely perfectly fine), then yep! You should be able to almost instantly verify your settings on the BI Camera tab that we started this post with. Shou...

Upgraded to .20. Knock on wood, other than the new features that have come out in recent months, I haven't had issues at all. I know others have had different experiences though.

Re: Noble app

And to go with that, it's most likely that your server IP on your LAN is not routable so it would need a different external IP when accessing remotely.

Re: FPS and Bitrate

From my understanding, the "Max Frame Rate" in the BI settings is mostly useless. That said, I do always manually set it to match the camera. On to the real topic... it doesn't look like the ReoLink has configuration options for the Key Frame from the screenshot. From a little googling, I found some...
