Re: CTL + Mouse Left Click

I can see this in the Help file: In addition to the PTZ cursor and digital zoom capabilities, some cameras offer methods for Direct PTZ positioning which is invoked here by holding the Ctrl key and clicking on the area of the image where you would like to center (and zoom if supported). Shift+Ctrl m...

Windows location API BI5 v5.9.0

Interesting info from the help file: 5.9.0 - April 24, 2024 Integration with the Windows Location API. A new Settings/Location page has been added to manage this integration. Additional location settings moved from the Schedule tab. Maybe not for me at home though: If your PC has a GPS sensor and th...

Re: use Blue Iris to call functions on camera on timed schedule

If you can find a command that works from a browser, then this could work. I think an in depth read of the manual for the camera may give the answers. If not, a query to the supplier.

It doesn't look like it, but that thread from the dark side seemed to explain it well. Just make sure you can send it back ! Then experiment and post back here to detail your success story for the people that may follow you 8-)

Re: Run as a windows service makes PC unresponsive?

Doesn't quite seem right, but I'm wondering if your anti-virus solution is doing this. Can you disable it and test ? It's going to be something weird, and not setting AV exclusions fits that, but then it should affect it when not running as a service too. :!: Have a look if Reliability History gives...

Re: Turn Camera On/Off Remotely

Do they have home automation ? A zigbee remote control, then it depends if it's a wall wart psu or POE. More details are required to nail it down :?

That would allow it to automatically power on again too after a pre-determined time.

Re: Strange Computer Ringing Sound at Sunset Time

And watch task manager at sunset to see what pops up. Hmm, can't you record that ? Performance Monitor looks promising but I've not had to use it yet. It can save data sets.

Sunset approx 20:21 today here in the UK. Nearly time

Re: Error: Disk can't keep up

It's built in to recent versions. Go to alert list and right click for menu. Go to database/ Status window. You can then click on the arrows to see the individual drive read/write speeds. I checked my logs, and there were two cameras showing this. Since they are both on a powerline ethernet socket, ...
