Re: 'Direct 2 Disk' seems to force continuous recording
From the Help file: Video When triggered. Video is only recorded when the camera is in a triggered state. This can greatly save on storage space over continuous recording. The pre-trigger video buffer applies only to this type of video recording. By default, multiple trigger events are stored into o...

Re: Lost remote access to Blue Iris
Since both ZeroTier and opening a port worked with BI5 remotely to your mobile phone, it appears that BI5, your router and the IOS BI5 app are working normally. It does appear to be OpenVPN having a problem so could your mobile data provider have blocked a specific port that it uses ? Is there anyth...

Re: MQTT stop working after a few hours

On a different subject, I had seen intermittant MQTT, and also some Pushover actions were missing. I looked at my actions list and noted I had ten on my drive camera with seven of them d...

Re: AI doesn't work after update(s)
I found I always had to reboot the BI5/CPAI pc following updates. I'm hoping that will settle down when CPAI isn't so "Beta". It does get better with every iteration though.
Anyway, if you find a bug, and you can make it happen on demand, we can let Ken know.

Re: Blue Iris and CodeProject Questions
Well I did ask Ken, as I really don't get the static logic. He responded: The number one gotcha with static object analysis (SOA) is not understanding the purpose of the "ignore" rule. For SOA to do its thing, you want NO rules. If you add an ignore rule ("treat as not static") t...

Yes, PiHole here too. What a smile that gives you when you first get it set up. You begin to realise how hard companies are pushing their adverts on to everybody on the planet. A guy at work asked me how I know what to buy if I don't look at adverts (I avoid them on tv too). Oh dear. As for Tapatalk...
