Re: Manual updated - now shows I have evaluation version

We don't know what you're updating - 4->5? 5.x.x -5.x.y? Also, it's unclear how you attempted to update - what is a manual update?

Re: Continuous Recording but only move Alerts to Stored?

No, you misunderstand me - first, know this, it's confusing as all get out until you dig in. It's like Photoshop that way. Maybe you already know this but this might help. All video goes to the New folder - no video is stored in the Alerts folder by default. C&A allows you to set when and what t...

Re: The video stream was lost. Attempting to reconnect...

First, the "source file corrupt" dialog indicates that he is not using Direct-to-Disc recording format, and does not have the codec installed to export to mp4. Best practices are to use D2D unless you have a reason not to. No offense, but... PEBCAK. "Video stream was lost" means ...

I hope to use the cameras built in motion detection to lower the network traffic. I think I see what's going on.... here's how you get it squared away. STOP, do not pass GO, head directly to Connecting cameras - best practices . Configure your camera firmware settings as directed by Camera Settings...

The first thing that stands out is your AI configuration. You can't perform in a concert until all the instruments are tuned - same thing here. Ask me how I know... I did the same thing as you, pulling my hear out and cursing... It's not plug n play because it's not a closed proprietary system tweak...

What does "da skiwz" mean in your text? HAHAHA! I'm sorry man, I was being funny... a bit of comity... "the skills". If I'm honest, I laughed when I wrote it, so 50%. So yeah, if you have the skills was the operative point. Myself, I don't and I don't have a problem big enough t...
