Alerts Not Jumping to Video

One of my BI installs is having issues with the Alerts displayed in the UI. The timestamp in the thumbnails do not match the timestamp in the database and also when you double-click on an Alert it no longer jumps to that video and start playing. Instead it just shows a JPEG in BI. I noticed that in Windows Explorer, the DAT files are not getting created alongside the JPEGS any longer (see screenshot). I already tried repairing, regenerating, and deleting and recreating the database. Any ideas on how to get this back without deleting all the Alerts and starting over?'

I had a similar thing when DAT files were enabled on all cameras. They were being created so quickly that they filled up and blocked the Alerts. Try turning DAT files off on all cameras, and deleting the DAT files manually. You can then enable DAT files if you need them at any time.

Thank you. Are you referring to the "Save AI analysis details" checkbox on the Alert tab under "Artificial Intelligence"?

Yes, it only needs to be checked when you need DAT files.

I think i understand. DAT files are for AI analysis if you are having issues with AI and need to see what it is doing. So, you would only enable this if you are troubleshooting an AI detection issue. Do I have that right?

Yes. They show exactly what BI5 and CPAI are doing, but you only need them during set up or problems.
