Incorrect CPU usage being reported

I have seen this issue every since I started using Blue Iris over 9 years ago. The CPU usage number is constantly jumping between a value that is realistic and a value that is very large and obviously incorrect.
I have always run Blue Iris on platforms with Intel Xeon dual-processors or most recently Intel Xeon W Series (w9-3495X, 56 cores/112 threads).
Any ideas what is going on?
