Well how about that. Just completely stopped BI (service, etc.) and restarted and lo and behold it is recording again and not showing that idiotic "warning".

Not sure what they did but credit where credit is due: It appears fixed for now.

Edit: Nevermind. BI is not properly recording anything, which means it is still hopelessly broken.

This is all very confusing.

BI version 5.7.9.1. I have all the latest Windows 10 updates. I've rebooted several times for various reasons. And BI works fine
I see no reason why there should be all these problem on some, but not all, systems.

Examining my BI Admin Certificate, it says it's valid from Oct 24 2022 7:00:00pm, to, October 25 2025 6:59:59pm.

And everything working again on my end it seems so far... So the fix could be done without forcing customers to buy the latest version.
Feel bad for people who listened to the Official Advise from BI and spent more money when they really didn't have to.
Again proving BI simply wanted more customers money, despite having a "lifetime" license to begin with.

A massive thank you to all the individual customers posting here to assist with solutions rather than just throwing money at the problem.

In the mean time, I think its best we all start looking at alternative solutions. I have no doubt these types of "issues" will pop up again and again.

I've just checked the BI exes, yesterday the Thawte cert was showing as "Disallowed" today it has "This certificate has expired or is not yet valid."

This is why it has started to work as the status of the cert has changed, a previously valid cert that has since expired can be be used and will continue to be valid, hence the exes now working.

This status change of the cert is probably nothing to do with BI, probably pushed out by Thawte via Microsoft?

J'ai fermer BL ce jour puis rouvert normalement (sans le fichier .bat) et tout est OK a présent sans avoir fait aucune modification ?

Blueiris caught hell over this snafu which also affected Quickbooks and other programs and was a result of a Microsoft issue. There is a link about the issue.
