I just moved to a new house and I finally setup my BI server but after I upgraded the version from 5.4.x.x to 5.5.x.x, it became Evaluation Version.
Does version 5.5.x.x require a new license?

Ifirc When you buy BI5 you get a years worth of updates. Once that period is over you used to be able to update it and accidently put BI5 in demo mode. Last time I tested to see if that was still the case (Using the updater that opens when you start BI5) it protected me and told me I couldn't update to that newer version. I'm guessing you downloaded the full update, and bypassed that

The answer is either to revert to the last working version, or to purchase a support plan if it has run out. Look in Settings for "Support Level". Mine states "Extended" and shows the future expiry date. It all depends if you want the latest functionality.

Thanks for the clarification! Yes, that's exactly what happened. I downloaded the update package directly from the website and didn't use the updater.
